Dr. Val Creswell graduated from the University of Kansas Medical School and completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Kansas-Wichita. She completed her Infectious Disease fellowship at the University of Oklahoma, but returned to Kansas where she continues to be a Jayhawk fan. She is an expert in antibiotic stewardship, and started one of the first community hospital programs in 1993. She served as  Medical Director of Infection Prevention at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita for over 20 years. She is Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Kansas. She enjoys traveling in preCovid times and reading during the Covid era.
